Audio processing (of any kind) typically depends on your listening environment, your hearing (how sensitive it is), and what your perception of music reproduction is. I personally like audio processing that can breathe a bit, and is a bit more open (like FUV's stream), allowing more dynamic range, especially when a station plays all types of music (like 'FUV). However, audio processing is subjective - what one person likes, the other may not. There are extremes to audio processing too. For instance, on their streams, I don't believe BBC Radio 3 uses *any* audio processing (only manual console gain riding), while Z100 is balls to the wall. Yes, different processing settings for different formats, but for some who like to listen to music on headphones, in quiet environments, BBC Radio 3 is absolute heaven. Now if you want to talk bitrate and sampling rate/frequency for webstream's, that's another story.
